REDUCING SWINE FARM AMMONIA EMISSION WITH A FULL-SCALE MANURE TREATMENT SYSTEM

摘要

This study determined the ammonia emission reductions by an innovative swine manure treatment system operating at full-scale during a 2-yr evaluation period and five pig production cycles. The full-scale manure treatment system substantially reduced ammonia emissions to below the detection limit of the tunable diode absorption spectrometer (i.e. ＜ 5 μL L~(-1)-m).
