摘要

Based on the studying on the palaeogeomorphic, the source provenance and it's direction of the early Cretaceous Tenggeer formation in the south Slope area of Baiyinchagan depression of Erlian basin were studied in detail by many methods such as the analysis of rocks and minerals, rock fragment character ,seismic profile analysis, electric logging description, mud logging analysis, etc., for studying the distribution of the depositional system of this area. The research shows that there is mainly controlled by three direction sediment source regions in Xilin area of the south slope area of the Baiyinchagan Depression, which are from west southwest, south, and southeast. Provenance have favorable spatial combination with-depositional system and determine the depositional system pattern of the Tenggeer formation.
