The graphene is a gapless semiconductor and electrons behave as mass less Dirac fermions. The mass less electrons may give rise to distinguished features of electrical transport from those in conventional metals and semiconductors.Because of the two-dimensionality and the long spin diffusion length, graphene has a huge potential applicability to spintronics device. Magnetoresistance (MR), for example, has been observed in ferromagnetic metal/graphene junctions.Experimentally, the spin diffusion length in graphene has been successfully measured to be 1?1.5 μm by using nonlocal four-terminal devices. More recently, alonger spin-diffusion length of 8 μm has been reported.
