摘要

In order to resolve the problem of high accurate location for accurate electronic assembly equipments, a novel method based on Radon transform, phase correlation and up-sampling is presented in this paper for object location. Firstly, the Radon transform is applied to convert the region of objects from Cartesian coordinates to Polar coordinates, and the translation and rotation in Cartesian coordinates will be converted to translation in Polar coordinates. Then, the phase correlation and upsampling technique will be combined to obtain high accurate sub-pixel translation estimation. Finally, the rotation and translation of objects in Cartesian coordinates will be estimated accurately. Experimental results verified the proposed method which is also applied in the real time mounting components for accurate electronic assembly.
