Fat cats CEOs' bonus-seeking and bubble boom-burst cycle

摘要

This paper establishes a model to illustrate how bank investments could create a bubble boom-burst cycle. I find that the two major causes the bubble boom-burst cycles are the inappropriate interest rate policy and CEOs' moral hazard in seeking high personal compensations each was indispensable for bubble bursts.
