The quantitative analysis of information industry development effect on economic growth

摘要

Information industry has become the most active forerunner industry in economic development. It is important to economic growth and turn into backbone of country modernization. In this paper, time-sequence econometrics method is adopted to demonstrate the information industry development effect on economic growth from 1990 to 2007. It has been proved that Granger causality exists between information industry and GDP growth, and cointegration test indicates that collaborative interaction equilibrium exists between their long-run development.
