This paper describes an implantable low-power wireless telemetry system which can be used for rat long-term in-vivo monitoring of physiological parameters. The implantable module is powered by two button batteries, and power consumption of the frontend circuit is lowered through the use of low power components and parameter optimization. The transmission circuit is composed of LC resonance circuit, which doesn't consume extra energy. The pulse position modulation mode makes the transmission circuit in intermittent work status and realizes multi-channel signal collection. The implantable module totally consumes about 60uA. and can continuously monitor up to 2.5 months. The packaging process is completed by biocompatible silica gel. The overall size of the implanted unit is only 3 cm3 and weighs 5 g. Experiments on SD male rats show that the system can collect electrocardiogram, temperature and mobility data successfully. The system has great practical value in ' cardiovascular drug development and evaluation.
