Power 10KV ring main unit is an important part of power supply network of city.The running status of the equipment inside is directly related to the reliability of city power supply system.The space of RMU's cabinet is relatively small and the equipment inside usually operates at high temperature.Checking the equipment status by manually opening the ring counter one by one is not realistic and automation deployment of ATMAR must be designed.This paper apply the ANSYS analysis to the Temperature monitoring alarm system for RMU and developed a ANSYS Based Temperature Monitoring and Alarm method for Ring Main Unit(ATMAR),the structure and the workflow of ATMAR is described details.Experimental results show that ATMAR can not only accurately monitor but also timely warn the overheating for RMU.
