This article describes a technique to automatically measure the grayscale threshold of each pixel of ternary optical computer's decoder. The key are to identify the minimum grayscale of bright state and the maximum grayscale of dark state for each pixel. After getting the two key grayscale values, the bright grayscale threshold is set to that the minimum grayscale of bright state minus 10 and dark threshold is that the maximum grayscale of dark state plus 10. An experiment has proved that the means of two grayscale thresholds is effective. With this technique, the accuracy of ternary optical computer's decoder is 100%.
