Upgrade of High Performance Computer for Space Debris Collision Risk Evaluation

The catastrophic collision between the US Iridium-33 and Russian Cosmos-2251 on February 21th 2009, has warned us that collision threat comes to be a real problem to the operational spacecrafts.For the space environment keeps worsening, computing duty to derive kinematical characterizes and collision possibilities of every conjunction is too heavy for the former system which is constructed nearly four years ago.Thus a new high performance computer with parallel computing programme are set up to replace it, which is able to keep calculated results up to date.
