摘要

Failure Mode and Effects Analysis FMEA method is widely applied in industry to optimize the maintenance strategy. A new FMEA methodology based on Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is proposed, which can assist to prioritize special failures according to some desired criterions, thus obtaining more effective and directive maintenance strategy. It can also avoid that different failure modes have the same Risk Priority Number through distinguishing the relative importance among Severity/Occurrence/Detection. The simulation study on air compressor unit indicates its effectiveness and accuracy.
