摘要

According to the solidification characteristics of billet, a two-dimensional thermal elastic-plastic stress model has been established. The rules of temperature and stress distribution of the billet in the secondary cooling zone have been obtained. The billet stresses distribution has been calculated before and after the optimization of secondary cooling water and the precautions against the occurrence of fractures have been put forward. It offers the theoretical basic to study the secondary cooling that might affect the quality of billet. '
