The advance of computing, hardware and wireless communication technologies has put the new computing mode-Pervasive Computing into practice. Related areas such as Wireless Sensor Network and Internet of Things have been changing our daily lives. Context awareness is the key to success of prospective applications. Thus, how to store and manage these context information efficiently becomes one of the hottest topic. Derived from the basic requirements such as storing, inquiring, updating and distributing of context information. This paper brings forward a new concept of Context Objects Database, COD, which stores and manages various context information and objects such as time, location, network resource, interactive objects and so on. The paper mainly discusses the fundamental architecture of COD, the representation and storage of context information, as well as other vital issues such as indexing and inquiring.
