There have been a number of concerns worldwide about e-Government based on the rapid demand of the citizen of the countries. This paper aims to identify the level of implementation of e-Government to serve the needs of their citizens at the selected Arab countries. The selected countries are Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt and Kuwait. Based on the review of literature, despite the fact that, these selected countries had succeeded in the implementation of e-government projects in their various domains, there are some impediments facing all of these countries in reaching the peak of their respective goals in implementing e-Government. The outcome of this literature review suggests that these obstacles can be removed if the countries have the same vision for the application of e-government.
