Plantation is playing an increasingly important role in ensuring the ecological security and supplying wood in china. This paper discusses the Resource-economical and Environment-friendly countermeasures in harvesting and utilizing Plantation. The Resource-economical harvesting countermeasures include pushing on the forest harvest quota policy, taking full advantage of the land suitable for forestation, enhancing the plantation's tending cutting and enhancing the improvement of the low yield plantation, taking full advantage of the various parts of trees and the logging residues, popularizing the Resource-economical and environment-friendly harvesting technologies. The environment-friendly harvesting countermeasures include setting the buffer zone, controlling the cutting intensity, adopting the reasonable cutting systems, using the Environment-friendly skidding mode, clearing the cutting area.
