The geothermal resources assessment of Jinghong basin in Yunnan province

摘要

There has abundant geothermal resources in Jinghong basin in Yunnan province, according to the survey statistics, there were 21 hot water points found in this area. The Lancang River fault (F1) being as the boundary, the basin can be divided into two geothermal fields, which are Gasa-Manda-Manmai geothermal field and Manhefeng-Manyangguang geothermal field. Because the precipitation recharge of the ground water provides a rich source, active faults form the deep circulation channels of geothermal water, and widespread magmatic mass provide geothermal energy, the genetic type of underground geothermal water in this area can be classified as magmatic rocks-structural fault model. After calculation, the natural total flow of two geothermal fields is 1504.05m3/d, which can be divided into four priority development zones. Zone□ can be the first choice to construct wellness resort and breeding industry to drive the development of local economy.
