Supporting the cross-border Network Education with ICT in China: Feasibility analysis

ICT has provided a powerful technical support for the development of cross-border Network Education, which has become a trend of globalization. Although China has not made commitments about the market access and national treatment of cross-border supply in Schedule of Specific Commitments on Services, the basic conditions of Network Education development in China have been met, and China has made some progresses on the development of cross-border Network Education supported by ICT. It's important for Chinese government to formulate some strategies support the cross-border Network Education with ICT and take some relevant measures to implement them. Moreover, In the near future, the carrying out of cross-border Network Education in China will become an irreversible trend, and have broad prospects for development with the advance of educational globalization.
