Sound which we may have heard every day is part of our life. However, it's often ignored. In the process of product design, designers can almost get the design features of human vision, so they can design product which is attractive and functional. Nevertheless the collocation of sounds is secondary and often neglected. Nowadays, due to people pay more attention to the design of a multi-sensory. How to offer the products more creative elements to satisfy the multiple senses of the user is one of the mainstreams toward future design. The research is focused on audition by using the closing sound of automobile's front door as case study we tried to explore the corresponding relationship between the changes of sound wave and perceptual knowledge. Furthermore, we concretely defined the relation between physical elements of sound and perception through numerical definition of the closed sound by using frequency, duration, amplitude, Peak width at half-height. Finally Kansei Image's equations were constructed by Multiple Regression Analysis. The results provided the basis of collection about the visual and auditory aspects of the automobile's Closing Sound.
