This paper was simulated high speed horizontal plate ESP dust remove test by changing the applied voltage U, electrode distance d, flow gas speed v, and dust concentration ? single factor, etc. the experiment substituted the results into Deutsch formula to calculate drift velocity, by drawing the curve to analysis various factors on the impact of driving velocity, looking for the range of parameters to improve the drift velocity. The results showed that the applied voltage was at the 17–21kV, pole spacing was at 40mm, gas flow speed was at the 4m/s or so, a higher dust collecting was inside the device, dust particles was more easily charged and captured by collecting plate, dust collecting effect is well and now dust driving velocity was at the 150 cm/s or so.
