Miniaturized circularly-polarized fractal-rhombus slot antenna

摘要

A miniaturized printed fractal-rhombus slot antenna is proposed for the circular polarization (CP) operation by using an L-shaped feed. Experimental results shows that the measured impedance bandwidth (RL⩽−10dB) is 29.4%(3.74GHz–5.03GHz) and the 3dB axial-ratio bandwidth reaches 16.9 %(3.8 GHz–4.5GHz). The overall size of the antenna is only 40mm×40mm× 0.762mm. The proposed technology is attractive for designing low-cost, compact, broadband circularly-polarized antennas and arrays.
