Remote sensing analysis of crop growing situation in sewage irrigation area

Based on the CBERS (CBERS-02) remote sensing image, selecting the non-sewage irrigation area and sewage effluent irrigation areas as the experimental areas, which are located in the south of Laizhou Bay in the time of drought. In these areas, soil moisture was calculated, and different amount of filed irrigation was determined. Compare the normalized vegetation index (NDVI) of sewage irrigation areas with non-sewage irrigation area which have the same amount of irrigation to monitor the crop growth of sewage irrigation areas. The conclusion is that heavy use of urban industrial and domestic sewage to irrigate will have adverse effect, while small amount will play a catalytic role.
