摘要

A new evaluation index of flocculation effect - the vortex velocity gradient G'' was introduced in this paper, on the basis of currently existing evaluation indexes of flocculation effect —turbulent kinetic energy k and effective energy consumption ε; then combined three indexes the CFD numerical simulation of lattice flocculent pond was conducted. The results indicate that the numerical calculation of k, ε, and G'' can reasonably explain the impact of lattice flocculent pond orifice size on the flocculation effect, and meanwhile verify the better applicability when combined k, ε, and G'' together as the CFD numerical simulation evaluation indexes of flocculation effect.
