This experiment was investigated and compared the effects of NO3−-N and NO2−-N on the anaerobic phosphorus release and anoxic phosphorus uptake of Denitrifying Phosphate Removal Bacteria(DPB).The results showed: with the concentration of NO3−-N and NO2−-N increased in the Anaerobic stage, the amount of phosphorus release decreased. In the Anoxic phase, When the concentration of NO3−-N is 40mg / L removal of NO3−-N and phosphorus worked best, the removal rate respectively reached to 98.4% and 97.2%; The DPB had not been Acclimated by NO2−-N could still use NO2−-N as the electron acceptor, when NO2−-N is 20mg / L, phosphorus concentration of effluent was 14.42 mg / L, Removal rate was 59.13%, the phenomenon of Denitrifying Phosphorus can still happen when the concentration of NO2−-N ≤ 30mg / L, anoxic phosphate uptake were severely inhibited until the concentration of NO2−-N reached 40mg/L, the removal rate of NO2−-N was only 32.25% in 4 hours.
