摘要

Conductance sensor array has broadly value in the measurement of two-phase flow parameters. This paper proposes a new configuration of conductance sensors with six rectangular electrodes of same size from the pipe facing to a inner cylinder-shape electrode. This configuration mainly focuses on measuring the volumetric and cross-sectional phase concentration of gas-liquid and liquid-liquid two-phase flow. The geometry of six electrodes conductance sensor was determined with finite element numerical analysis. The sensitivity distribution and response characteristic of the established electrical field is studied to explicit sensor mechanism and improve measuring accuracy.
