As CIPP processors are required to comply with environmental and odor standards, resin manufacturers are working to develop alternatives for CIPP resins containing styrene monomer. The criteria for a successful CIPP project continue to be defined by parameters found in ASTM F1216. This paper analyzes and compares mechanical, corrosion resistance, flexural creep properties, as well as use and wet out of styrenated and styrene free resin systems.
