Low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) ferritematerials are a promising candidate for magnetic substrate ofhigh frequency converters. The inductors can be fabricated inthe substrate so the power density of the converter can bedramatically increased. There are three types of LTCC ferritetape material from ESL Electro Science?: 40010, 40011 and40012. To utilize these materials and choose the suitableapplications for them, their permeability and loss charactersunder different pre-magnetization conditions should bemeasured in order to calculate the inductance and core loss inthe high frequency integrated converters. The measurementuses high frequency measurement setup, which can providepermeability and core loss density information under DC premagnetizationcondition. Finally, three LTCC ferrite materials'characteristics are compared and discussed.
