NUMERICAL FLOW SIMULATION APPLIED TO FLOW METERING

With the increase in natural gas consumption worldwide, there is a noticeable increase in interest in improving the accuracy of the corresponding flow metering. The knowledge of accurate energy flow is essential for the transport, distribution and billing within the gas industry. To this end, the present paper will discuss the opportunities given by numerical flow field simulations inflow metering configurations.
