Remanufacturing has attracted growing attention with the stringent pressures from environment and social requirements. In this paper, considering uncertainty of new product's return, a stochastic programming model is developed by which a deterministic model for remanufacturing logistics network design can be extended to account for the uncertainties. Then a heuristic algorithm is proposed in this research and a numerical experiment is presented to demonstrate the significance of the developed stochastic model.
