The financial crisis of 2008-2009 led to a considerable transformation in China changing their product markets to domestic. Compared with mature international logistics companies, domestic companies cannot meet the business development needs in the service level, scope, content, and technical skill. Taking Shantou city as an example, this paper will address these issues and put forward constructive suggestions for the development of logistics enterprises. Those suggestions that include improving the professional level of logistics services, integrating the project contents of logistics services, expanding the business scope of logistics services, provide more standardized and flexible service by means of information technology and establishing a strategic alliance relation with business or industry.
