A MULTI-AGENT SYSTEM FOR INTELLIGENT SCHEDULING OF NON-EMERGENCY MEDICAL PATIENTS' TRANSPORTATION

This paper describes a multi-agent software solution for intelligent scheduling of a special fleet used for patient transportation in the UK. The solution is based on the proprietary Maxoptra scheduling platform developed by Magenta Technology. Implementation of the solution allowed the customer to consider specific business requirements and as a result to reduce costs and increase patient service levels.
