The McGill Metals Processing Centre; A University-Industry Partnership for Process Metallurgy

Successful Centers comprise successful researchers and successful practitioners, all of whom have a vision and understanding of the R&D spectrum, and their role in it. There has to be an understanding that teamwork, and committed players, are an essential component to the hallmarks of success. Centers cannot be all things, to all men. Our experiences have taught us the need for focused research and focused expertise by the MMPC and its IAB corporate members. With these, we have been making exciting contributions to the metallurgical symphony of technological advances in process metallurgy.
