There are various kinds of on-line analyzers to improve operational efficiency of a process unit in a plant. Especially, oil refineries refining various kinds of feed stock have to control the condition of process operation according to the feature of feed to meet the production specifications per product. Thus, process people utilize the on-line analyzers providing realtime analysis data to assure whether the product produced by the controlled operation condition meets their specification. Furthermore this kind of real-time analysis data is used to increase the production of higher value products. There are a variety of on-line analyzers to increase the yields of products with higher economic value but two kinds of cold property analyzer have been installed to increase the yields of Kerosene, which is used as main feed in Aviation Fuel, and LGO, in Diesel, at one CDU unit in 2006. The yearly potential profit of two million dollars is currently produced using four cold property analyzers after the same analyzers ware installed at other CDU unit in 2008. This paper talks about how to provide higher accuracy and better precision through directly utilize analysis data of freezing point analyzer and cloud point analyzer for control of process condition, and increase the yields of Kerosene and LGO.
