Evaluating the impact of wave polarization on improvised explosive device (IED) jamming

In this paper, the impact of the electromagnetic wave with different polarizations on IED has been researched. The numerical results based on the two ray model have been presented. The results indicate the ground has significant impact on system performance. Comparing the various polarizations, the vertical polarization has better performance.
