摘要

In this paper, a novel compact narrow-band band-pass filter has been designed and simulated using loaded coupled microstrip transmission lines‥ This filter has provided a simulated 3-dB bandwidth of 56%–66% which is suitable for personal communication systems (PCS''s). Additionally, the return loss (RL) and insertion loss (IL) of the proposed narrow-band band-pass filter have been reported to be far better than those of the conventional ones. The size reduction has been reported to be 31.6% in comparison with the conventional NB band-pass filter. It has been shown that the proposed NB band-pass filter is also capable of being designed for several central frequencies without any increase in its size
