In the framework of the theory of coupled waves and the method of equivalent circuits, a dispersion equation for resonant slow-wave systems with an electron beam is obtained. For an electrodynamic system in the form of a folded waveguide with given geometric parameters and calculated electrodynamic characteristics, an equivalent circuit is constructed, and its parameters are determined. The results of calculating the dispersion characteristics of a traveling-wave tube on a folded waveguide for two values of the accelerating voltage are presented.
