A multivariable control scheme for a hot dip galvanising line process

Flat strip metal production is realized by means of several consecutive processes where complex control and automation technologies are involved in order to guarantee the best performances and the optimal productivity levels. This paper addresses the galvanizing process and the application of an advanced multivariable controller to the coating process
