Airplane industry is emerging to a large scale inter-discipline co-operation among different department of the industry. Within this circumstance, design processes of the composite product have been progressed through the concept of concurrent engineering. The concurrent engineering enable high quality product with major reduction of costs and lead times. This research work describes a technique to efficiently manage the current design process and shorten the design process time for the composite parts. Airplane composite parts need product design department, process department and tooling departments to work together. It is very difficult to manage all these departments for concurrent design processes in real practice. Composite-Workflow model is used to analysis the composite parts concurrent design process. It consists on a few numbers of micro-circulations. Departments in each of the micro-circulation collaborate with each other. Network plan study is carried out to control the time parameter of concurrent design. The six-time method is used to construct the network plan for the current design cycle and critical tasks and path are identified. Implementation of this technique has proved that the method is very effective to manage the composite parts current design process and it also shortens the design process time.
