This paper presents a discussion to determine whether the radiation efficiency of UWB antennas across the entire UWB range (3.1–10.6 GHz) can be obtained using a reverberation chamber, such that consistently repeatable results are readily available. The technique applied is based upon a frequency domain analysis. The procedure has been applied to a UWB antenna and the results found that repeatable results can be obtained in a time frame that isn't too obtrusive; yet yielding a lowest repeatable accuracy of 3% in the final results.
