Multimedia communications have the characteristics of a large number of transmission, and occupying the bandwidth of the WAN. To ensure the user's quick access, multimedia services should be distributed, and contents engines or content servers should be moved to the nearest places of users. Through measuring hops, delay transmission and position of the UNICOM networks to different networks in the same city , and analyzing the CDN routing of WAN, we propose a technique to better solve the user's needs of bandwidth in multimedia communication, which is to distinguish the characteristics of the application of the content delivery network technology in the LAN, MAN and WAN when applying content network technology to transmit the data to the nearest servers of users.
