摘要

Lots of projects history show that the steel corrosion is a main factor to induce the structural damage and premature failure, while the expanding width of corrosive crack is important to determine the durability damage level and residual life of reinforced concrete structures. The fracture mechanics numerical simulation tool has been used to simulate the expanding process of corrosive crack in reinforced concrete structures in this paper and the protective layer of concrete thickness, diameter and location of reinforced bar, stirrup area have been considered. The simulation results have been compared with those of accelerated corrosive experiment; both of them have been shown in good agreement.
