The Research on Influencing Factors of Dividend Policy Based on Data-Mining Technique: A Validating Study Based on Listed Companies in China

摘要

The dividend payable of Chinese enterprises has the feature of randomness and volatility, resulting in a discontinuous dividend policy. However, this is inconsistent with Western dividend policy and entrepreneurial practice. This article will analyze the factors which impact the dividend policies, with the data mining method, to understand the relationship between the combinations of different enterprises' features and different dividend payable policies; so that the company could choose the optimal dividend policy as well as the investors could set up the most profitable portfolio.
