In this paper, theoretical mathematical model of reservoir simulation using tracer is given and an ideal tracer reservoir model is established. Numerical simulation results show that the injected concentration of tracer has no effect on breakthrough time and peak time of the tracer, but breakthrough concentration and peak concentration increase along with the injected tracer concentration. The higher rate of injected water in an injection well, the shorter breakthrough time and peak time of the tracer injected in this well, but the greater breakthrough concentration and peak concentration. The simulation results provide the basis and references for oilfield development.
