Recently, there are some problems like complex system, large weight of pumping high-temperature pipe and easily damaged heat preservation on three media desiccation of large scale fan mill direct firing pulverizing system. Directed towards these problems, adopting water-cooled high temperature furnace gas pipe to adjustment high gas temperature is proposed, to change three media desiccation into two media desiccation. Heat transfer characteristics experimental study is performed on water-cooled high temperature furnace gas pipe by thermal test bed, finally, it obtains the exothermic character criterion equation of water-cooled high temperature furnace gas pipe, then gets the heat transfer characteristics of water-cooled high temperature furnace gas pipe under different load and flue gas flow velocity, which provides basis for fan mill direct firing pulverizing system changing three media desiccation into two media desiccation.
