摘要

In this study, the experimental investigations into the structuralbehaviors of various structural steels tested under three series ofstrain-controlled cyclic loadings with constant strain amplitudes –that cover both low-cycle fatigue (LCF) and extremely low-cyclefatigue (ELCF) regimes – were conducted. Based on the test resultsand observations, the key conclusions can be summarized as follows:1. SA440C steel material shows cyclic softening behavior;whereas SS400 and SM490A steel materials exhibit cyclichardening behaviors.
