Analysis on Economic Development Level in Less-developed Regions --A Case Study of Bijie Experimental Zone in Guizhou Province

Since established in 1988, Bijie experimental zone in Guizhou province has made noticeable achievements in economic development and serve as a good model for the economic development of other similar district in some degree. The article firstly made a brief review of Bijie experimental zone and then by working out the index evaluation system of economic development which matched Bijie experimental zone and adopting Principal Components based on date tables indexed by the time. The economic development level and economic situation were analyzed in terms of data-processed result. Lastly, some problems as well as corresponding solutions concerning economic development in Bijie experimental zone were put forward in hope to promote harmonious development among economy, society and ecology and provide scientific references for the sustainable development of less-developed regions.
