A Low Cost Automated Solution to meeting EPA RICE MACT emissions recording requirements for gas burning engines used in natural gas compressor stations

As industry adapts to green environmentally friendly solutions, there is a need for cost effective means of gathering information from various instruments and other sources and recording that data for required EPA RICE (Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines) MACT (Maximum Achievable Control Technology) compliance inspections. Assuring reliable data collection and storage is vital and not commonly associated with the phrase "cost effective". However, given the state of the world economy, affordable solutions are essential to continued industry success while also maintaining and improving emissions standards. This paper describes one solution that provides adjustability to the size of a facility in terms of layout, instrument type, data type, and presentation options.
