Two types of ferrocene (Fc)-doped C_(60) nanowhiskers (C_(60)/Fc NWs and C_(60)/ferrocene pyrrolidine-C_(60) (C_(60)-Fc) NWs) were prepared by liquid-liquid interfacial precipitation method using toluene solution of C_(60) and Fc or C_(60)-Fc and isopropyl alcohol (IPA). The morphology of C_(60) precipitates was remarkably changed by the addition of Fc or C_(60)-Fc in the C_(60) toluene solution. Interestingly, the C_(60)/Fc NWs are formed at low Fc concentration, however, Fc and C_(60) forms the hybrid hexagonal nanosheets (C_(60)/Fc nanosheets) at high Fc concentration.
