摘要

This study contributed to the understanding of the dynamics of the ATA in patients with and without aneurysms. Patients with aneurysms were found to have lesser circumferential strain values at the BR and LSC segmentations in the ATA. Circumferential strain at the LCA was found to be the same in both groups. There was no significant difference between the two groups in the longitudinal strain and the maximum aortic displacement. Future work lies in examining patients based on aneurysm geometry and incorporating blood flow dynamics to fully understand the internal environment of the ATA.
