A field experiment was designed to study the persistence of flusilazole and carbendazim in paddy. Two sprays of Lustre 37.5 SE at 15 days intervals @ 360 (120 g a.i. ha-1 w.r. T. flusilazole and 240 g a.i. ha-1 w.r. T. carbendazim) and 720 g a.i. ha-1 (240 g a.i. ha-1 w.r. T. flusilazole and 480g a.i. ha-1 w.r. T. carbendazim) was made at panicle initiation stage. The harvest time residues of flusilazole in polished rice grains, bran, husk and soil were found to be less than its respective limit of quantification arrived at 0.01, 0.04, 0.04 and 0.01 mg /kg. Flusilazole residues in straw were found to be 0.13 and 0.35 mg/kg, at single and double dosages, respectively. Residues of carbendazim in polished rice grains, rice bran, rice husk, straw and soil were found to be less than its respective limit of quantification arrived at 0.20, 0.40, 0.40, 0.40 and 0.20 mg kg-1 at both the treatments.
