Dased on the definition of interface management, the paper proposed the necessity, of interface management performance evaluation, researched the implementation of the specific activities, such as process of physical, organizational and contractual aspects of project interface management, in order to find out the management activities’ contribution degree to the achievement of the project, then try to identify the interface management’s input and output efficiency, put forward improvement proposal to management activities and strengthen the control of interfaces. Applied Balanced Scorecard principle to summarize the performance in finacial, customers ,internal business process, learning and growth , the four indicators of interface management evaluation. Methods and usage of value engineering in interface management performance evaluation was discussed, then the importance of four aspects of the Balanced Scorecard were delivered to the real significant management activities which all included in the physical, contractual and organzational interface management. At last, this method was illustrated by example analysis.
